SCM Minimax FS 30C Planer Thicknesser – 300 mm – 400 V

The SCM Minimax FS 30C is a compact surfacing-thicknessing machine for cabinetmakers, joiners and woodworking workshops requiring accurate jointing, surfacing and thicknessing of solid timber. Its 300 mm working width and 1510 mm jointer table provide practical capacity for general workshop preparation and furniture work.

The supplied “Xylent” spiral/helical cutterhead has three series of knives with four usable tips per cutter, supporting a smooth finish and longer knife life. Adjustable thicknesser feed-roller pressure, a helical infeed roller and sandblasted-steel outfeed roller help maintain consistent stock feed and finish.

The 1300 mm extruded-aluminium surfacing fence tilts from 0° to 45°, while the planer provides 7 m/min feed speed and up to 4 mm stock removal. The Australian configuration includes a 4 kW (5.5 hp), 50 Hz three-phase motor rated at 400 V.
