SCM Formula S 540P Bandsaw – 540 mm – 4 HP, 400 V

The SCM Formula S 540P is a professional bandsaw for cabinetmakers, joiners and woodworking workshops requiring increased capacity for accurate straight, angled and resaw cuts in solid timber. This three-phase CE version combines 540 mm cast-iron wheels with a 500 mm maximum cutting height and 520 mm maximum cutting width.

Thick cast-iron wheels and the lapped cast-iron worktable run on sealed-for-life ball bearings for smooth, reliable operation. Top and bottom ball-bearing blade guides help minimise lateral blade movement, while the cast-iron squaring fence and telescopic blade protection support controlled setup and repeatable cuts.

The Australian configuration includes a steel blade and a three-phase motor. Its larger 520 x 720 mm worktable provides room for substantial workpieces, with a CE tilt range and twin 120 mm extraction outlets for workshop dust collection.
